It’s commonly believed that once we forgive someone, everything is good. Often, that is not the case. It would be great if forgiveness was a 'cure-all', but it's not in many cases. When there are emotional things [wounding, anger, disappointment, etc.] that are connected to what we've forgiven, those things need to be addressed for it to feel like our forgiveness is complete—thus, making forgiveness not enough.
